Plastolam PLASTOLAM

These multi-layered, corona-treated films are designed for lamination using any type of adhesive. Plastolam's HB and MB 5- and 9-layer films are available in a wide range of configurations, including different types of sealing layers, and antifog properties.


Features and Benefits

  • Seal layers for locked or peel sealing to PE, PP, PVC, PET, PS and Aluminium. Seal properties tailored for packaging technology and end-user convenience.
  • Range of thicknesses, including some of the thinnest films on the market. Use only the film thickness necessary for the application: cuts cost, lower environmental impact.
  • Different barrier levels, including low, medium and high barrier, as well as highly permeable films. Optimal gas and moisture vapor transmission for product preservation and maximum shelf-life.
  • Excellent anti-fog (AF grades) and optical properties. Premium product presentation.
  • Available in jumbo rolls. Reduces downtime and cuts costs.



    • Hotlam HOTLAM
    These multi-layered films are designed for thermal lamination to rigid sheet stock for thermoformed trays. Sheet manufacturers can add value to simple mono-layer sheets using cost-effective in-line lamination to achieve complex multi-layer structures with seal and barrier layers. Hotlam is available in two product groups: high gas barrier films and low barrier polyolefin films.

    Features and Benefits:
  • Production scrap is recyclable. Significantly cuts costs while protecting the environment.
  • Range of thicknesses, including some of the thinnest films on the market. Use only the film thickness necessary for the application: cuts costs, lower environmental impact.
  • Different types of lamination layers adhere to PVC, PP, PS, EPS, APET. Saves time and costs while offering consistent, in-line lamination performance.
  • Seal layers tailored to packaging demands. Standard seal layer is lamination grade LDPE. Different seal layer grades for sealing through contamination are available. Peel seal layers can also be supplied.
